1. Who we are

UnlockBali is operated by Deni Matros, a sole trader based in Romania.

2. Accepting these terms

By visiting unlockbali.com or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or make a purchase.

3. What we sell

UnlockBali sells digital travel guides in PDF format. Our current products are:

  • Essential — €19 — [FILL IN: brief description of what the Essential guide includes]
  • VIP Concierge — €89 — [FILL IN: brief description of what the VIP Concierge guide includes, e.g., extended guide + itinerary planning support]

After a successful payment, you will receive an email with a download link. The PDF is available for download immediately. There is no physical product — nothing will be shipped.

4. Pricing and VAT

Prices are shown in euros (€). As a seller based in Romania, EU VAT rules apply. VAT may be included in the displayed price or added at checkout depending on your location and applicable rules.

We accept the following payment methods: Shopify Payments (credit/debit cards), and any other methods displayed at checkout.

5. Digital product license

When you purchase an UnlockBali guide, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the PDF for your own private, non-commercial travel planning.

You may:

  • Download and save the PDF to your own devices
  • Print one personal copy for your own use

You may not:

  • Share, resell, redistribute, or sublicense the PDF to any other person
  • Upload the PDF to any file-sharing platform or website
  • Remove or alter any copyright notices within the PDF
  • Use the content for commercial purposes (e.g., creating derivative travel products)

This guide is protected by copyright law. Unauthorized distribution is a violation of our intellectual property rights and applicable law.

6. Customer responsibilities

By purchasing, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your country)
  • The payment information you provide is accurate and belongs to you
  • You will keep your download link private and not share it with others

7. Availability and accuracy

We do our best to keep the guide accurate and up to date. Travel conditions in Bali — including visa rules, prices, opening hours, and local regulations — can change. UnlockBali is not responsible for changes that occur after publication. Always verify critical information (visas, entry requirements) with official sources before travel.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We provide the guide "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the guide or reliance on its content.
  • Our total liability in connection with any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights).

9. Intellectual property

All content in the UnlockBali guides — text, photographs, maps, illustrations, and design — is the intellectual property of Deni Matros / UnlockBali and is protected by Romanian and international copyright law. All rights reserved.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania.

If you have a dispute with us, we encourage you to contact us first at calatori.vise@gmail.com — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it may be referred to the competent courts of Romania. EU consumers also have access to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform:

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the effective date at the top. Continuing to use the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
